About Dr. Parth Parekh

Dr. Parth Parekh, completed his schooling at St. Xaviers Loyola Hall (Ahmedabad), which as one the most prime schools at that time. After completing his schooling, he did his M. B. B. S(basic medical degree) from Gujarat’s prestigious Smt. N. H. L Medical College(Ahmedabad) in 2008.

Dr. Parekh did his post graduation Diploma in Orthopaedics (D. Ortho) from Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College in 2011 with keen interest in Sports Medicine. He did his National Board Accredition in Orthopaedics (DNB); Diplomate National Board from National Institute Of Medical Sciences, Jaipur in 2013 with extensive work in Sports Medicine and Arthroplasty.

He did his fellowship in Knee Arthroplasty from Sancheti Hospital, Pune in the same year. He was further trained in Knee Arthroplasty from Apollo Hospitals, Delhi . At that young age he was one of the few surgeons to be also trained in Revision Hip Arthroplasty at Princess Ellizabeth Orthopedic Center, England in 2015.

After doing great work in Hip and Knee Replacements, Dr. Parth Parekh saw a lack of exclusive Foot and Ankle surgeons in India. Especially when India is the diabetic capital of the world. Dr. Parekh started working with Dr. Rajiv Shah, learning the pearls of the specialty. He then went to the world’s premier foot and ankle center at Orthopedic Foot And Ankle Center, Columbus, Ohio (U. S. A). He was extensively trained in trauma, ligament reconstruction and ankle replacements under Dr. Gregory Berlett. Dr. Berlett is the foremost authority in the world for Foot and Ankle specialty. After coming back to India, Dr Parth Parekh has completely and exclusively dedicated himself to foot and ankle specialty.

In this rather short tenure Dr. Parekh has been involved in more than 500 surgeries and continues to work for the benefit of the patients who are not properly treated due to inadequate foot and ankle specialists. He already has seen patients coming from all over India to the center and has some famous athletes and sports personalities as his patients.
